Payment architecture
Checkout is integrated behind /api/checkout, Creem webhooks are received at /api/webhooks/creem, and payment events are written to payments and subscriptions_webhook_log. Set Creem secrets in Cloudflare to activate real billing.

What is an AI credit?
Credits reserve and settle paid AI work such as transcription, subtitles, TTS, denoising and summaries. Each tool displays its cost before upload.
Do credits apply to local converters?
No. Browser-local image conversion, image compression, MP4-to-MP3 and audio conversion do not consume server credits because the file is processed on the device.
How does Pro remove ads?
After subscription state is active, advertising containers and third-party ad scripts are disabled for signed-in Pro users.
Are payments live?
The checkout and webhook architecture is prepared for Creem.io. In the current deployment without a Creem secret, checkout opens in a safe demo state and does not charge a card.
